In a push to create a more eco-friendly line of vehicles, the new 2021 Wrangler 4xe is the first model in the Jeep fleet to run on clean energy.
Powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged Inline-4 motor, it uses an efficient 400-volt 17-kWh lithium-ion battery unit to deliver 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a smooth-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission, it even has 4WD - making this SUV capable of traversing across rugged terrain just like its older sibling. It can even tow up to 1,588 kg (3,500 lbs), which is higher than average.
Classified as a plug-in hybrid, the Wrangler 4xe offers a driving range of 35 km using only electricity. Combined with fuel, you can travel up to 595 km in total.
