No matter which trim level you choose, the 2021 Ram 3500 can be fitted with multiple add-on features to help bolster the truck’s towing capabilities.
This heavy-duty model can pull between 6,118 kg (13,490 lbs) and 16,828 kg (37,100 lbs) depending on the body style, powertrain, and any extra equipment. However, you can boost your truck’s ability to haul just about anything if you opt for either of the following pieces of gear.
First up is the 20K Fifth Wheel Hitch. Integrated into the bed, this mechanism enables the vehicle to tug large campers and RVs. This particular component will be placed in a fixed position and doesn’t require any drilling.
Next is the Fifth-Wheel/Gooseneck Prep Group, which places the hitch or ball on the underside of the Ram 3500. This allows you to have full access to the box for carting other payloads.
